What was your event?
An annual fundraiser for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute called UnMask Cancer. A cocktail gala on a Saturday evening at the Mandarin Oriental Boston with the theme of 70’s Glam!
Why did you hire Kim over another DJ?
Kim was referred to me by a fellow DJ I had worked with previously and trusted their judgement without question.
How did you feel about hiring a female DJ?
I am someone who wants to help other women succeed. Especially a talented one like Kim!
What was the best part of working with Kim?
Kim is such a professional and flexible. Fundraising events are not easy as there are always so many layers and stakeholders. She was patient and so easy to work with, plus her music selection was phenomenal!
Can you share one memory of Kim that really stands out?
Her personality. How much she got the crowd/the guests to not only feel like they were at Studio 54, get on the dance floor but it was Kim who created the vibe and feeling that night! The DJ is so critical for us at this event because we did very little for programming. The DJ is with the guests through until the end!
Can you describe working with Kim in one word?
Memorable!
What would you tell anyone who was considering hiring Kim for their event?
Don’t hesitate to sign on with her. You will fall in love with Kim and want her for all of your events and parties, your guests will also. She not only connects with the guests but can read them as well. As an event planner, she made my job easy. Showed up onsite, checked in with me and went off and did her job. I would recommend Kim to anyone.
